　　Today it was raining. It was raining so hard that I could't go out. It was very boring. I took out the English story book that me uncle gave me for my birthday last year. I read it and found there were many words that I don't know. But I found it very intereating.

　　I picked up my story book that I didn't finish yesterday. When I found some words that I didn't understand, I looked it up in the dictionary. It is about a little girl who lost her mother on the street and could not find her way home. I finished the book and I like it very much.

　　I am sick to-day. When I woke up in the morning, I didn't feel well. My mother took me to the doctor and the doctor gave me a shot. It was very painful. Since I didn't feel well, I went to bed real early.

　　I felt better to-day. Since I was sick yesterday, my mother didn't let me go out to play. I had to stay home and watch television. There was a good movie on the television in the afternoon. It is about a dog. It was so much fun and I enjoyed it very much.

　　这个寒假，英语老师布置了一项英语单词分类的作业。

　　这个作业听着容易，做起来难。一开始我束手无策，叫苦连天，还暗暗地骂罗老师坏蛋······这时，妈妈来助阵了，她教我用EXCEL软件，看着我做好了空表格，我这才消停一点。

　　但在分类上还是遇到不少麻烦。有些单词我不知道词性，几乎一会儿就向妈妈求援一次，妈妈被我叫得几乎要烦了，于是，她教我一个方法，就是查英汉字典，这方法很奏效。有了这个利器，加上妈妈的帮助，我只用两个半天时间就把单词分类的作业做好了。

　　这时我感觉到一阵轻松和成就感，我再也不骂罗老师了，我反而还感谢他，因为，这回的单词分类令我又复习了一次单词，还让我学习分类的'技巧，最重要的是：我明白了，要是自己不会做的，要找别人求助并汲取别人的经验。正如一句话“取长补短，才有长进”。

　　August 7,20__ Friday Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions. Once again, I make a decision to be a good girl.

　　i went to the home for the aged with my friends on july 30th.as soon as the eldly people saw us, they were all happy. 1.we sang songs and danced for them. then we helped the worker clean the rooms and washes the clothes. they praized us a lot and said that we were good boys. although we felt tired, we had a good time.

　　下午，随着上课铃响，同学们陆续走进教室，英语老师也捧着试卷慢慢的走进教室。老师站在讲台上严肃地说：“今天我们考试，请大家准备好考试用的东西。”我一听，呆呆地坐在那，想“唉，竟然是英语考试，这可是我最怕的'事情，啊，真是悲剧啊！”想完，只见老师发下试卷，说：“现在开始考试。”唉，只能写了。于是，我硬着头皮，乱写一通。

　　咦？这个怎么写呀！于是我想呀，想呀……忽然，我觉得试卷正面好像有这道题目，于是，我把试卷翻过来，看了一下，果然有这道题目，然后，我把填的答案抄过来，这样，这道题目就做完了。

　　过了半个小时，我的试卷做完了，看了看时间，快要下课了，于是我检查了一遍。过了一分钟，下课铃响了，我把试卷交了上去，静静的离开了教室。

　　这一周我发现了同学们的有一个薄弱点，同学门的阅读水平不高，就平常来看，我在讲课文时有意挑一些比较简单的句子让同学们来翻译，可是他们还是翻译不对或不顺，段落稍长或者句子稍多，他们就不知道表达的什么意思，所以我决定适当的添加一些语法知识，但是又不能干巴巴地讲，所以，结合课文中的句子，我让同学们用小括号，横线，箭头等一些符号来辅助理解一些从句等比较难理解的句子。

　　课上我还要求同学们在理解的基础上熟读原文，做翻译练习，慢慢的同学们的.水平有了一点点提升，虽然翻译的不是很标准，但是基本意思已经翻译出来了，这样既巩固了课本知识，又在一定程度上练习了一下阅读，所以课下我要求同学们自读报纸上的第一版，因为第一版都是与课本相关的一些有趣性阅读，里面虽然有一些生词，但不是很难，同学们可以通过猜测来判断，自己阅读完或者有不会的可以参照报纸上给出的译文，他们对故事有兴趣，所以自然而然也就乐意读了。

　　我想，阅读能力的提升不是一朝一夕就能上来的，他得需要平常不断地练习，所以在课上，我经常让同学们做现时训练，给他们紧迫感和压力，现在看来，这种方法好像有点起效了。

　　i went to summer camp on vacation. on the first day, we went to a beautiful beach. it was a sunny and hot day, so we went swimming. the water was warm and we had great fun. then the next day, we went to the mountains. there were many trees and i really enjoyed them. on the last day, we had a great party. we sang and danced happily. we didn’t want to leave(离开) the friends and the teachers. i hope i can go to summer camp again next year.
