　　Today I am very happy,Because I can talk about with you.

　　You see I am a lovely girl,yes!I like laughing,I like studying.

　　That`s me-- zhuyingjie from Badong shiyan primary school.I am

　　eight. I am young but I know “we are the masters of nature.”

　　We have only one earth. But now,the environment becomes worse and worse. Asyou know,there's no enough clean water for people.

　　So many of them lose their lives because of water.If we take good care ofour earth today,it will be more beautiful tomorrow.

　　Good morning/afternoon/evening, my name is xx . It is really a great honorto have this opportunity/chance to introduce myself. I would like to answerwhatever you may raise, and I hope I can make a good performance today.

　　I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao TongUniversity, P. R. China. Withtremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I amwriting to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

　　In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. Duringthe following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished amongthe whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, Igot the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admissiontest.

　　At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that isgiven to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the AcerScholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is theultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor ofExcellent Graduation Thesis.

　　Research experience and academic activity

　　When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began tonarrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL andMatlab, I designed a simulationprogram for transportation scheduling system. Itis now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilleda sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewagetreatment plant. Thiswas my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

　　In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory andexperience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future researchinterests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybridsystem performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

　　My nameis Wu Yixuan. I am 11 years old, and I am a fifth grade student.

　　I have many hobbies. I like drawing and I can drawvery well, which get alot of praise from my teachers and friends. I likesports, such as dancing,skating, biking and playing badminton. I often play badmintonwith my sisters andwe have a great fun together. I love music, especially thepop music, which makesme feel relax. I love English, too. I hope I can travelall over the world oneday.

　　I have manyfriends. I often study and play with Ke Jingqi and Zhu Si huai.Sometimes, wego to bookstore or supermarket together. We are so happy when weare together. Ilove my friends and they love me, too.
